چکیده

Investigating the impact of vascular blockage on blood biochemical parameters, particularly in context acute heart failure, is crucial for understanding underlying mechanisms arterial thromboembolism animals. The purpose study to investigate effect occlusion parameters cats with cardiogenic thromboembolism. involved 12 and formed two groups: first – animals failure second Anamnesis data were collected experimental animals, clinical examination, echocardiography, examination samples performed. activity alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, concentration glucose, creatinine, urea, potassium, calcium, total inorganic phosphorus determined spectrophotometrically serum. It was found that average value serum increased by 2.8 times, creatinine 1.9 times compared upper limit reference values. This indicates functional changes myocardium kidneys this pathology. In affected thromboembolism, shows a significant elevation various corresponding intervals. Specifically, there 4.4-fold increase activity, 4.3-fold 1.4- fold glucose concentration, 1.8-fold levels, 2.0-fold urea 1.3-fold levels. feline may be consequence renal ischemia, muscle necrosis. Moreover, it established most urinary system primarily affected, tissue also occur. results obtained are practical veterinary doctors when choosing therapeutic strategy prescribing additional diagnostic examinations

Peripheral and Central Venous Blood Glucose Concentrations in Dogs and Cats with Acute Arterial Thromboembolism

BACKGROUND Acute limb paralysis because of arterial thromboembolism (ATE) occurs in cats and less commonly in dogs. ATE is diagnosed based on physical examination findings and, occasionally, advanced imaging. HYPOTHESIS/OBJECTIVES Peripheral, affected limb venous glucose concentration is decreased in ATE, whereas its systemic concentration is within or above reference interval. ANIMALS Clie...

The Effect of Acute and Chronic Morphine on Some Blood Biochemical ‎Parameters in an Inflammatory Condition in Gonadectomized Male Rats

Background: Opiates affect blood factors as well as pain and inflammation in a gender-dependent manner. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of morphine on serum glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, and urea in gonadectomized and inflammation conditions. Methods: Animals were divided as follows: control group, carrageenan and chronic morphine recipients, acute morphine recip...

Arterial Thromboembolism in 250 Cats in General Practice: 2004–2012

BACKGROUND Population characteristics and outcome of cats with arterial thromboembolism (ATE) managed in general practice (GP) have been poorly described. HYPOTHESIS Cats with ATE presenting to GP are usually euthanized at presentation, but survival times >1 year are possible. ANIMALS Cats with ATE managed by 3 GP clinics in the United Kingdom. METHODS Records of cases presenting to GP ov...

Prognostic implications of arterial blood gases in acute decompensated heart failure.

BACKGROUND The prognostic value of arterial blood gases (ABG) in patients with acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) is not well-established. We therefore conducted the present study to determine the relationship between ABG on admission and long-term mortality in patients with ADHF. METHODS We studied 588 patients consecutively admitted to our department with ADHF. ABG and classical progn...
